I am a recent convert to SkamiLinux; and I am excited to explore its capabilities. As a gamer; I am particularly interested in optimizing my setup for gaming performance. While I have been able to get my system up and running; I feel there is a lot more I could do to enhance my experience.

What are the best graphics drivers to use for optimal performance? I currently have an NVIDIA card; and I have read that the proprietary drivers often provide better performance than the open source alternatives. Are there specific versions or settings I should consider?

For those of you who have experience gaming on SkamiLinux; what settings have you found to work best for popular titles? Any particular configurations that enhance frame rates or reduce input lag?

Are there any tools or software that you recommend for monitoring system performance while gaming? I am interested in tracking FPS and resource usage to help identify any bottlenecks.
